Bronx, N.Y. (February 4, 2021) – While Fordham University Basketball Rams fans may not be able to cheer from the stands this season, they are showing their unmatched support thanks to the innovative, new multi-media Virtual Game Day Experience platform.

Launched in partnership with leading technology customer experience company QWASI in mid-December, the Virtual Game Day Experience is reporting more than 1,060 minutes of engagement per game. Fans are enjoying special features such as access to pre-game tailgate parties, student-athletes Q&As, and team trivia challenges – all complimentary offerings available on their favorite streaming devices.

While watching the games, fans have the opportunity to view exclusive behind-the-scenes content, join in conversations with other Rams fans, and participate to earn points and win prizes throughout the season. Additionally, with over 2.5K page views per game (available for three men’s and women’s games to date), The Virtual Game Day Experience is also ideal for sponsors working with sports teams to promote their brand and university donor development teams who are looking to personalize events for unique experiences.  Sponsors for Fordham Game Day include United Healthcare and Ridgewood Bank.

Each Virtual Fan Game Day Experience “event” is broadcast live one hour prior to tip off for select games noted below. Please note, home games are either nationally-televised or streamed on ESPN+ and non-conference away games can be seen on the opponents broadcast network.
